B- Dec. 12, 2005 The trails are getting a little thinner but it has been a lot of years since you could ride this early in the season. We rode from the west rim entrance of the PA Grand Canyon in Ansonia to Slate Run PA. The trails were smooth but a little bony along the creek bottoms. There were some bare spots where the sun had shone on the road. After a good hot meal at the Hotel Manor in Slate Run we returned to Colton Point via the Fahneystock Rd. & the West Rim Rd. A 71 mile round trip.
