Pony Tale

Our website had a cyber-attack a few months back and I didn't know that the 'Rest of the Story' had disappeared. My wife was in the Mansfield Walmart yesterday and one of the employees (Brad) told her that the story didn't have an ending. Thanks Brad! Here goes - After finding out where the pony had relocated, Bob decided to give it a few days to calm down. We had a nasty storm come through one night with a lot of high winds and thunder & lightning. This scared the pony and it relocated to a farm about a mile to the north. The pony had gone into a pasture with an electric fence around it while the power was off from the storm. When the power resumed the pony was trapped inside the fence. Bob called out the reserves to help him capture the elusive rascal. There were several pastures on the farm, but this one didn't have any water on it. Bob darted the pony again and gave it a second shot after it got groggy from the first one. It ran to a corner of the pasture and I had brought along a long rope in case we needed it. I was attempting to string the rope from one corner of the fence to the other to make a triangluler corral when the pony bolted and hit the rope and pulled it right out of my hands. It hit my friend, John Pete and sent him flying 'Ass Over Tincups' (does that expression date me or what?) John was a little sore but not hurt too badly. We decided to call it a day and try to come up with a different plan.
