Feb. 29, 2008 Web Site:Next Feb. 29th report in 4 years! This is the first Feb. 29th report since we got our web site. It looks like we are getting more snow this afternoon and tonight. The groomers will be operating tonight and Saturday night in the Tioga State Forest (The Canyon Area), so please use caution if you are riding at night. I received a reliable, objective report from one of our members who was out riding yesterday. He said all the trails that he rode in the forest were in good shape with the fields being on the thin side. The 2 to 4 inches that we are supposed to get tonight should help that. We will have someone at the clubhouse from 10a til 4p Saturday and 8:30a til about 1 or 2 on Sunday depending on traffic. I will not be able to lead the breakfast ride Sunday morning due to some upcoming surgery. But you can stop in and get a quick cup of coffee before you ride. Take it easy on those curves going up to the Colton overlook.
