March 2, 2008 E-Mail: snoguy@chilitech.com There was plenty of snow up on top, but it was getting pretty thin down around Ansonia. I received a report that the Francis rd. was the roughest. The DCNR groomers were out last night and I hope that they got over that way. This was not a good grooming snow. It lacked moisture and did not pack well. We had our groomer over in the Asaph area and I noticed that the snow just kind of crumbled. Ken VanSant came over and did some more footage for the video that he is making about our club. After he was finished, the guys took the groomer back out and did some more grooming on the Right Asaph rd. * Reminder - This is the last weekend that the Ansonia Country Store & Gas Station will be open this season.
