We are supposed to get some flurries, but nothing to ride on. For those of you that go to the God's Country breakfasts, the last breakfast will be March 30. Ron A. will have something special to show everyone that shows up. That big Elk that has been hanging around the last few months has finally shed his antlers and Ron was the lucky finder. ** I received an e-mail that I would like to share with you. ' Hi John, I want to thank you again for all that you and the club members did to make us feel welcome. This past snowmobiling year was an excellent experience and will always be remembered. It would not have been that way without the PA Grand Canyon Snowmobile Club. When I entered the snowmobiling experience this past year by purchasing a snowmobile, my insurance agent suggested that I belong to a snowmobile club in order to get a reduced rate. Since then I have learned that joining a snowmobile club has many more benefits than just saving on snowmobile insurance. To me just the fellowship alone of other snowmobilers is worth being a member'. Thanks again, Carl C. of Spring Mills, PA (Carl is also a member of the new Poe Valley Snowmobile Club) They were up a few weeks ago and stopped in at our clubhouse for a visit. They have a new website www.poevalleysnowmobileclub.com/ While I was typing this report, I received a long distance call from Carl's cousin John from Snead's Ferry, NC. When I read Carl's letter to John, he said they were his sentiments too. Thanks to both of these great guys.** There was another bear here last night and he must have leaned against my snogage (see snocam) because it is tilted over. There is a light dusting of snow and his tracks are fresh. I try to put some corn out to keep the deer and rabbits coming around the snogage to make it more interesting than just a gage. It's time to stop. there is a lot of browse for the deer due to that ice storm. Brutis will have to move on.
GREEN SNOW????
